Irrigation Installation FAQ’s

Yes, to install a new irrigation system with a backflow preventer a permit is needed, and we absolutely take care of that process.

The Oregon LCB (Landscape Contractors Board) has different types of landscaping licenses, called phases. To install irrigation and backflow devices, a contractor is required to have an Irrigation & Backflow Phase License. We have an all phase license allowing us to provide full-service landscaping, including irrigation installation and repair.

Upon completion of installing your new sprinkler system, we’ll prep the soil and seed your new lawn. Depending on the seed blend we use and the time of year, your new lawn will be ready to play on typically in 2-4 weeks.

There are many factors that go into the cost of a new irrigation system, but typically the cost falls somewhere between $1,200 – $1,500 per zone, plus the cost of the backflow preventer installation and permit fees.
